You can use some markup e.g. `code`, **strong text**, *emphasized text* should work.

Seems to work now - so either I did something wrong (most probable) or it was a transient issue. Therefore, I'm closing the question. :)

When posting comments, the "markup bar" is enabled and markup can be added. But once the comment is posted, the markup is not used but displayed as plaintext instead.
